Some tips to keep your healthy efforts on track
- Write down the reasons you want to make the change.
- Keep a log of your success and challenges. It can be a check mark on the calendar day for each day you take a walk or eat healthy. It can be a detailed log of what you ate and when. But writing it down reinforces the path you are on.
- Celebrate successes- three days in a row of working your plan, a week, two weeks- and celebrate with healthy rewards, like something that smells good, a massage, a small gift, etc
- If you got off your good path, you can always get back on. The road to good health is usually not straight. It’s about the destination- a healthier you.
